Kidspeech, Inc. conducts screenings throughout the year at private schools, preschools, daycares, and children’s academies. Our goal in screening children is to identify delays as soon as possible and remediate weaknesses. Areas screened include vision, hearing, speech, oral motor skills, and language skills. Speech areas screened include voice, fluency, articulation, and phonological processes. Hearing is screened by pure tone air conduction at 25 dB as required by the State of Georgia. Vision skills are screened at 20/40 acuity following the guidelines set forth by the State of Georgia. We will sign the 3300 form (the state document needed for entry into public school) for any child passing the screening.

We suggest that the children be at least 3 years of age or older to participate in the screening. Schools may call the main office for a screening appointment. We typically schedule dates for the following school year during the previous summer. You may want to call early as the dates fill up rather quickly.
